Hello and welcome to Pumpfun Hostel! $Hostelfun is a Solana memecoin that was launched on pump.fun to help Diogo fulfill his dream of renovating his newly-acquired hostel in Arraial do Cabo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
It was launched on January 27, 2025 and quickly hit the Raydium pool. Diogo went live and had 1k plus viewers, which greatly helped! As is normal on the Solana blockchain, a bunch of people panicked and sold before Diogo had a chance to update the Dexscreener token profile.
The next day when I noticed my buddy had bought in, I said “wow, this is a special Solana memecoin, different than all the other crap out there.” I promptly bought, and my friend and I pitched in to update the Dexscreener page.
Since the revival of $Hostelfun, an amazing community of hard-working people have come together, started buying up the floor and gradually raising the marketcap. A very well-known and respected KOL (Key Opinion Leader) bought and promptly sent $Hostelfun soaring above $600k, but the Solana noodle-hands weren’t done just yet! 🙂
Hostelfun progress
The day following launch Diogo also did a short livestream where he and his son visited the Pumpfun Hostel. I joined the telegram and asked him to make me an admin. After setting up all the bots, I started shilling on my x leaving replies to fresh tweets of big accounts (I use this list to target good KOLs and their latest tweets).
Token locks
Diogo reached out to me and asked me how to lock his tokens, as he wants people to realize this is a longterm project that he is serious about. Can you say bullish, anon? I reached out to some chads in the crypto space to ask for the URL as one must be extra cautious.
Someone sent me the website and I shared with Diogo. He locked up 1.5% of his tokens in two transactions as the first time he only locked up .15% by accident. I contacted him and told him about it, and he promptly locked up the other 1.35%.
Website build
I knew this was a special project, and believe in it wholeheartedly… so the next logical step was to register the domain hostelfun.xyz and start building a website. So, that’s exactly what I did!
After some consultation with a fellow crypto friend, I decided to purchase the domain pumpfunhostel.com and move both the static page and multilingual blog over there.
It is much more professional-looking, and will appeal more to a wider audience. It will also serve as the main website once the hostel is fully-renovated and operational.
TikTok account created
A kind community chad decided to make a TikTok account, and uploaded our first video. He will continue to post on there as it’s a great way to attract new eyes and buyers to $Hostelfun and our mission. I have seen some Solana memecoins get serious traction from TikTok.
